HASC WINTER MEET 2002 SPONSORSHIP.

The HASC Winter Meet 2002 on the 6th and 7th July this year, is now only a few weeks away. Would those who have organised sponsorship deals please get the money and documentation into Alan Barclay. Those who haven't yet please do so ASAP.

JOINT TRAINING WITH ROVERS' SENIOR SQUAD

As of Monday 17th June 2002 the seniors swimming squad from Rovers Swimming Club will be training with our senior swimmers. This is a short term arrangement and may be extended to other squads in the furtue. Some of the training will be in our club's pool and some at Waterworld Te Rapa.

Rovers' Club Night June 26th

We are invited to Waterworld Te Rapa on 26th June 2002 to take part in Rovers' Club night. Club Night starts 6.30pm See your coach for entry details.
This sounds good to me, I prefer to be inside for club nights, rather than in the outdoors during winter.

WINTER MEET 2002

Well its only a few weeks & we have WINTER MEET 2002. This is seen as a premier meet and will be used as a preparation meet for the swimmers heading off to the Commonwealth Games.
We expect to see record breaking swims and an opportunity for Waikato Swimmers to swim against the best in New Zealand and the Commonwealth.

Winter Meet 2002 Planning Meeting

The next and final major planning meeting for HASC Winter Meet 2002 will be 25th June 2002, 7.30pm at Advance Interiors Building Bandon Street Frankton.

HELPERS NEEDED FOR WINTER MEET 2002.

Things are underway for our Winter Meet. Entries are coming in. Now we need to ensure the whole lot comes together.
Mrs. Jan Barr is organising providing the food for officials. We asked families all contribute some food. Check with Jan to see what is needed if she hasn't let you know already. Savouries, sandwiches, fruit, cake, muffins, sweets and drink are sought.
Remember that every swim meet need officials. Timekeepers, IOT etc. etc. If you have not been asked and can officiate please contact a committee member.
There are plenty of opportunities for other people as helpers. Again contact a committee member if you are available to assist.
