Working Bees at Club Pool Great Success
T
he working bees held on Saturday the 1st of October was a great success. There was a very good turn out with the bulk of the needed works being completed. The balance of the the basic jobs were finished on the following two Saturdays.
Wayne Walker, David Magill, John van Rooy and Doug Schrieber prepared the shop for its transformation and transformed the tower.  GREAT JOB GUYS.
But doesn't the pool look great now with the new colour scheme, new paint, new lane ropes, in bold Waikato colours, hot water to basins and electric hand dryers in the downstairs toilets, new lights in the boys changing shed and downstairs toilets.  Thanks to HCC. The club and committee room needs much work to complete it, but the end is in sight.  Those who have been around a while will really appreciate the progress made in improving the facilities.
