These Policies have been developed by the Hamilton Swimming Club for the operation of the Swimming Club. Other
organisations are welcome to make use of these policies, however, we
have arrived at them to suit our own situation. It is strongly
recommended that if you use them, then do so as a guide to develop your
own policies which will suit your situation.

Hamilton Swimming Club: Policy Statement No 6. (14 October 2003)
Sponsorship
From
time to time external organisations and individuals seeking sponsorship
or funding approach the Club. When considering requests for sponsorship
and funding, the Committee will adhere to the following guidelines.
^ TOP ^
Guidelines
The Club will prepare an annual budget for discretionary grants and sponsorship.
^ TOP ^
- Preference will be given to organisations and individuals that
will promote membership of the Club and/or use of the Club's
facilities.
- Preference will be given to organisations and individuals within
the reasonable 'catchment area' of the Club. This is to encourage and
promote Club membership and use of the Club's facilities.
- The Club will consider applications from organisations
that are not traditionally connected with swimming at the Club. This is
to encourage diversity in the Club's membership and amongst those using
the Club's facilities.
^ TOP ^
Sponsorship would usually be in the form of:
- An individual day pass to the Club's pools at 16 Victoria Street, Hamilton.
- A family pass to the Club's pools at 16 Victoria Street, Hamilton.
Where day passes are given, it is on the condition that an adult accompanies all children under 10 years of age.
