THE HAMILTON SWIMMING CLUB - THE POOL

The pools are situated at 16 Victoria Street. That is the south end of Victoria Street Hamilton, near the Bridge Street Intersection and the Hamilton Central Police Station. This is the only public pool within a few minutes walk of the central business district, and the closest pool for most of the inner city residents and schools. Private parties, clubs and groups may hire the pool during outside of these hours as well as, during normal pool hours on occasion. Contact the Pool Administrator for a quote and availability. To see a chart of standard costs follow the link to Pool Charges including hireage

The pool complex has recently been upgraded by the Hamilton City Council, who have significantly extended the useful life and safety of this historic complex. The pool complex comprises three pools in total. One 25 metre, six lane main pool, the bulk head pool 5m x 12 for learn to swim, and a 15m, three lane pool for learn to swim. All pools are heated between 24ºC to 28ºC.

There are several areas around pools for sunbathing , including a grassed area. There are other shaded areas including the grandstand for sitting and relaxing.
