The clubs swimmers and parents are actively involved in various activities within the club, whether it be the older swimmers and parents teaching learn-to-swim, parents acting as officials at swim meets, and mundane daily running of pool functions etc.
Being an open air, heated (tepid) facility with a 25m, six lane main pool, two learn to swim, (shallower) pools with grass and recreational areas it is a much favoured swimming and leisure facility. We have one portable barbeque and more permanent barbeques planned. The opportunity for club parents and patrons to make the complex a pleasant venue for family and club gatherings, for lunches and evening meals are further enhanced.
